LG V30 Rumored to Feature Snapdragon 835 SoC and 6GB of RAM

LG V30 will feature a Snapdragon 835 SoC and have 6GB of RAM, according to a post on Weibo (via AndroidPure). LG’s upcoming G6 will feature Snapdragon 821, reportedly because Samsung has dibs on the initial supply, for its Galaxy S8 flagship to be released next month.

As a result, LG had to either release the G6 later this year, possibly in May or June, or incorporate the SD821 and launch a smartphone with the latest SD835 later this year. The V30 will be LG’s phone with the latest Qualcomm processor inside. Recent reports also indicate that LG will be moving its flagship series from the G line to the V series.

No secondary display for V30

The report also suggests that the V30 could come with an upgraded Quad-DAC compared to the V20. The V30 might also come with a dual-camera setup on the back and in the front. Reports from last year have indicated that the smartphone might ditch the secondary display.

LG’s V20 smartphone enjoyed moderate success and the company wants to provide it with a successor. The V20 comes with a 5.7-inch QHD display with 513ppi and 64GB of internal storage. The phone offers 4GB of RAM and a 3,200mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

It also comes with a secondary display and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Aside from this, the V20 has a dual-camera setup on the back with an 8MP camera and 16MP sensor, while the front shooter has a 5MP capacity. Moreover, it has HD Audio Recorder with Hi-Fi, and it supports 24 bit/192kHz FLAC. Source: softpedia
