Everyone seemed to be having a good time until an overzealous fan reached over to touch the singer as he was singing the 1973 hit.
"I saw him say fu- off to somebody", another audience member can be heard saying on the video.
"This guy was rude, disruptive and had no care or respect for our show and so I let him know how I felt, then left the stage until they had removed him", he explained.
However, the stunt backfired when one fan in particular ruined it for the rest of the crowd by repeatedly trying to get a high five and touching Elton's back.
'He left, and they cut the song short and ushered everyone off stage and escorted the guy out of the building'.
Footage from the encounter obtained by TMZ showed John scolding the fan, even telling him to "F**k off", before exiting the stage.
Before the song was over, John had clearly had enough and stormed off the stage surrounded by security.
He continued the concert performing The Circle of Life from The Lion King. He is set to perform in 300 shows before ending his touring career in 2020, The Sun reports.
