Parker accuses Joshua of disrespecting media from New Zealand and Samoa

His upcoming unification bout against New Zealand's Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) on March 31 in Cardiff, Wales, is expected to generate a $28 million payday for Joshua.

Joshua's two most recent fights have averaged more than 80,000 spectators while also being pay-per-view successes.

"I'm going to be a lot lighter".

'I definitely know there will be blood and you can definitely hear the leather cracking on people's heads if you're close enough.' Joshua, 28, admitted he has little time for Parker and his team, adding on Talksport: 'He's a weird character.

World heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua is being targeted by UFC, the world's premier mixed martial arts firm.

Veteran combat sports journalist Gareth A. Davies on Wednesday reported in The Telegraph Joshua (20-0 boxing) is someone the UFC wants to sign to a multi-fight deal. I'm not into the UFC, so I don't know what their plans are. "And we're focused on keeping healthy, keeping strong and putting on the best performance of our lives on March 31".

"By my 40th fight, no one should be giving me problems".

Beyond Wladimir Klitschko, Parker was already considered Joshua's toughest test, and he insists he has significantly benefited from the improvement in both his elbows and shoulders.

"There has never been one champion in the heavyweight division that relied exclusively on power and one punch".

But Joshua has always lived by the mantra "stay humble, stay hungry" and his most extravagant purchase during his latest training camp is evidence that he is not straying too far from his favourite motto.

"Remember, mine and Eddie's relationship is a really good working relationship". We had a very enjoyable training camp where we've been able to get the sufficient work, some great sparring.

"We have been managing pain in almost every single training camp, and for us now to go into a camp for the biggest fight of Joe's career, and have no pain at all, it was a very good move for us getting the surgery". We'll listen and 100 per cent, if it makes sense, we're all ears, man.

He said: "I feel they are looking past me". But career-defining fight offers arrived and they decided the pain was a manageable risk.

This is because Joshua said last week that he would be interested in fighting two of the UFC's biggest stars, Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones, as they would be "good scraps".
