Police say she eventually ended up in Fort Myers, in Lee County on Florida's Gulf Coast, where she found Pamela Hutchinson, 59. Authorities say she may have targeted Hutchinson because the two women looked alike.

Police say Riess is also wanted for the March slaying of husband David Riess in Minnesota.

Recent footage has shown Riess at Ms Hutchinson's Florida home, and authorities have spotted the deceased's stolen vehicle in Louisiana and Texas since the latest alleged murder.

Lee County Undersheriff says while Riess "may look like anyone's mother or grandmother, she's an absolute cold-blooded murderer".

Police say Riess is considered armed and extremely risky, despite her age and appearance.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has announced it is preparing second-degree murder charges over the death of Riess' husband.

Investigators said that Riess stole her credit cards, cash and vehicle.

Authorities don't believe the women knew each other, but that Riess killed Hutchinson earlier this week to assume her identity.

Police believe Riess killed both victims with the same gun, and may still have it.

She then allegedly went on the lam, stopping at Diamond Joe's Casino in Iowa to feed her gambling habit.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

"It's just evil that flowed through".

Authorities also have said they suspect that after David Riess was killed, his wife transferred almost $10,000 from his business account into his personal account and then forged his signature on three checks to herself for $11,000.

Surveillance footage caught her leaving Hutchinson's home and allegedly taking her auto.

"Riess' mode of operation is to befriend women who resemble her and to steal their identity", Bio said at a press conference on Friday.
