Eyewitnesses in Sanaa reported Saudi-led air raids on Saturday near the downtown rally for the burial of Saleh al-Samad, the president of the political body that runs Houthi-controlled northern Yemen.
Al-Samad, who held the post of president in the Houthi-backed political body, was the most senior official to be killed by the Western-backed alliance, which had offered a $20-million U.S. reward for any information that led to Samad's capture.
The coalition confirmed it had intercepted four missiles headed for the southern Saudi coastal city of Jizan, one day after the kingdom's defence forces said they had downed a missile headed for the same area.
The report of missile attack, which was also carried by Yemen's official Saba news agency, provided no further details on the exact locations of the targets and the possible casualties and the extent of damage caused.
In the meantime, the rebel-run Al-Masirah TV says Saturday's missiles hit their targets with "excessive accuracy".

There was no confirmation from the Saudi-led coalition fighting Houthi rebels. The rebels did not immediately acknowledge the strike.
The war has its roots in the Houthi takeover of Sanaa in late 2014, which forced the Saudi-backed government of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi into exile in the southern city of Aden.
While the coalition said the attack claimed no casualties, Jizan's civil defence spokesman Colonel Yahya Abdullah al-Qahtani told Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya television that a Saudi Arabian citizen had been killed by falling shrapnel. It said over 38 Houthi fighters including the two leaders were killed.
