Ending weeks of uncertainly, US President Donald Trump announced Friday that his historic summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is back on for June 12 in Singapore.
However, Trumpsaid it may take more than one meeting with Kim Jong Un to get a deal through.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is in Pyongyang on Thursday, meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to discuss the state of talks with South Korea - and inviting Kim to visit President Vladimir Putin in Russia.
After the NY meetings, Pompeo said the two sides made "real progress" but declined to discuss specifics.

President Trump received a hand-delivered letter from Kim at the White House today. Quoted by the state news agency, KCNA, Kim said "the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula will be solved on a stage-by-stage basis" in which each party addressed the interests of the other.
