Now Mac users can toggle between two color schemes for their desktop displays.
A much-anticipated feature which was launched was Dark Mode for the latest version of macOS. As for third-party apps, Apple will be making the API available if they wish to include it in their apps as well.
Another new visual feature in Mojave is "Dynamic Desktop", which changes the desktop wallpaper based on the time of day. Now, the feature is being revamped to make a system-wide change.
Stacks can also be customised so users can sort files by type or by other attributes such as date, size and tags.
Dark Mode was the first new tool shown onstage by Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of software engineering.

But while the addition of a Dark Mode and Stacks in macOS are the more flashy features announced earlier today, the one that has developers all giddy is the addition of new features to the app developer framework to support iOS apps on the macOS desktop in the future. This new update will encompass a host of features which will help users curb smartphone overuse.
