Apple has announced its second product event of the year, following on from the September showcase that debuted the iPhone Xs, Xs Max and XR, as well as the Apple Watch 4.

Apple's Apple Watch Series 4 just gained a new friend.

News just in, Apple has announced a Special Event, for October 30th.

The event will take place ahead of the shopping season at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, kicking off at 10am local time. It also remains unclear if the event will see Apple break the silence over reports of a cheaper and more affordable MacBook Air. Currently, Apple's iPad Por comes in two sizes: 10.5-inches and 12.9-inches. The new models are also expected to include faster processors and an Apple-designed graphics chip for the first time, but will lack the more vibrant OLED screens used in the iPhone X and iPhone XS.

It can be noted that Cupertino-based company already unveiled the generic iPad (6 Gen), earlier this year. This will also align the iPad design with the iPhone designs of 2018. Along with its long-awaited refresh of its MacBook Air. The new iPad Pro will be able to support Face ID in landscape, export 4K video over USB-C, and more.

The Mac Mini desktop computer has not been updated since 2014, despite its cult following. This latest leaked image does line up with previous rumors and leaks, so unless Apple is planning something out of left field at its expected event later this month, this is probably what we're going to see become officially official soon enough.

Apple is finally coming to the Big Apple for a big product release.
